building features
-
UK-made in Manchester
We manufacture our panels in Manchester using trusted suppliers. Local production means tighter quality control, lower transport emissions and less waste.
-
fast, low-disruption assembly
Our tiny homes are often built in our factory and delivered complete, but they can also be flat-pack assembled on site in just a few days - fast, flexible, and with minimal disruption.
-
compliant by design
Our tiny homes are built to meet the Park Home Specification under the Caravan Act. Larger models can also be engineered to comply with full UK Building Regulations.
-
climate resilient
In addition to general excellent build quality, breathable wood fibre reduces summer overheating, while raised foundations can help mitigate flood risk where sites demand it.
-
built to last
Our tiny homes are made from durable, high-performance materials with a lifespan of well over 60 years. This long-term durability provides security and peace of mind.
-
precision-engineered timber
Our panel system is manufactured offsite with exacting tolerances and refined joinery - if assembled onsite, components slot together very easily.
-
responsibly sourced timber
All our timber is FSC certified, sourced from responsibly managed forests. The minimal waste we produce is collected by our recycling partners to further reduce environmental impact.
-
engineered steel chassis
Our tiny homes can be built on a certified AL-KO steel chassis, designed for holiday homes and park homes. Strong, durable, and relocatable, they provide a solid base with long-term reliability.
-
ground screw foundations
If a more permanent option is required than a mobile chassis, steel ground screws provide a quick and low-impact solution that can be installed in less than a day.
-
high performance membranes
Breathable weatherproof layers protect the structure from wind and rain while allowing moisture to escape, helping keep walls dry and healthy.
-
airtight building fabric
We use high-quality membranes, tapes and seals to create an airtight envelope. This reduces heat loss, eliminates draughts and helps block unwanted noise.
-
sheep's wool insulation
We tend to use natural sheep’s wool insulation that’s breathable, low-carbon and safe to handle. It regulates humidity and helps create a healthier indoor space.
-
recycled insulation
Recycled insulation made from PET (plastic bottles) is cost effective, low carbon and circular by design, providing stable performance for tiny homes.
-
wood fibre insulation
Dense wood fibre boards reduce heat loss, improve summer comfort and buffer humidity, helping create a healthier, more stable indoor climate.
-
hemp insulation
UK-made hemp insulation offers ultra-low embodied carbon and natural thermal performance, creating breathable, healthy and non-toxic spaces.
-
aluminium-timber windows
Timber inside with aluminium outside offers warmth and durability. Slim frames deliver daylight while providing excellent energy performance. Tripled glazed is an option.
external appearance
-
timber cladding
Douglas Fir is durable, affordable and naturally attractive. Left untreated it weathers silver-grey, or it can be stained to suit the setting.
-
profile sheet cladding
Fibre-cement sheets suit walls and roofs. They are durable, lightweight and low maintenance, available in muted colours to complement nature.
-
metal sheet cladding
Metal sheet cladding provides a crisp, contemporary finish. It is strong, lightweight, and long lasting, suitable for both roofs and façades.
-
corten steel cladding
Corten steel naturally forms a rich patina over time. It provides a protective finish that is strong, characterful and evolves with the climate.
-
zinc
Zinc planks give a modern look with long-term durability. They weather consistently and are a robust option with relatively low embodied carbon.
-
fibre cement panels
Equitone panels can be used for whole façades or as accents. They are tough, refined and low maintenance, available in a wide colour palette.
